I'm a sad white guy without a beard. Does this mean I have at least enough "credits" to listen to Iron and Wine, Pedro the Lion and Badly Drawn Boy?

oh well i do have a beard sometimes, and i'm sad and i listen to sufjan stevens, and for some reason i do that without laughing at him because he's christian. maybe i should check out iron and wine then.

yeah, Sufjan's "Seven Swans" is one of my favourite albums of the year. i think it's because i've got a thing for banjos and because i secretly love songs about Jesus.

hey, seriously, i really do love "to be alone with you", although i have no connection to jesus or christianity or whatever at all. i might just like it because it seems beautiful that he does have this connection.. i got no clue.

i agree completely. "to be alone with you" is the most played song on my winamp media library. i love how he sings the last line of the song so subtly and quietly.
