highlights of the weekend:
- hanging out with my girls
- laps around a water fountain with the lion tamer
- babies picking up the phone because they have to "call their peeps"
- apple sour martinis and venting
- Sparklehorse - Eye Pennies, the part about the cat.
- calculating the loudness of chattering teeth
- singing Avril Lavigne - Complicated and knowing the words
- driving home late at night to the soothing sounds of Dillinger Escape Plan. seriously, this is soothing to me.
- the comic book style pannelling in
Shrek 2Hulk. - the Nintendians in the Tales of Interest episode of Futurama
- singing the entire "chains lie broken" verse completely before Conrad does in "Totally Natural"
- the new glasses on that sexy bitch
- cute as a button Amelie
- driving home to the soothing sounds of Isis. "Weight" is 10 mins long. it played 2 and a half times and i was home.
- Maus
- listening to The Postal Service underwater
- the excited way my name is announced when i arrive for my haircut appointment: "Pinder's here! yaaay!"
- two back to back "Sideshow Bob" epsisodes of Simpsons
- the 20 min nap on the couch. i can usually never nap.
- sending e-mails where i explain that everything is pretty much light, including bits of matter at a particle level that neither come into nor go out of existence. and at that level, i am bits of matter neither coming into nor going out of existence. i am light and i am eternal.
- the new Me First and the Gimme Gimmes album
