the new one actually isn't mine. it belongs to a friend who makes as many frivolous purchases as i do.

What size batteries do ipods take, and what is the average battery-life?

ipod's don't take batteries. they have a LiOn battery built in that's charged via firewire.

p.s. glad i got me an old one. hate the new designs

oh, and battery life. the old ones get about 10hrs on full charge. i hear the new ones, about 8
