Add all your mp3s to Winamp. Hit shuffle. Hit play. The top 10:
  1. Clint Mansell (feat. kronos quartet) - Summer: Ghosts

From Requiem For a Dream Soundtrack. The entire sountrack feels like one long song. I mean that in a good way.

  2. Nine Inch Nails - Wish (live)

don't think you're having all the fun
you know me i hate everyone

  3. Prodigy - Ghost Town

Wow, I thought Prodigy was completely finished, but this song is good. It has bounce. Downloaded from last month's jeans and a t-shirt mix.

  4. Lovage - Pit Stop (Take Me Home)

Her voice is pure sex. So fucking hot. Mike Patton is in pimp daddy mode here too.

  5. Doves - Words

    The lyrics go:

    words, they mean nothing,
    so you can't fault me

but when i sing it, it goes

    words, they mean nothing,
    so you can't fuck me!

  6. Tool - Stinkfist (live in Perth, Australia - May 4 2002)

Maynard sings Elvis in the middle:

Caught in a trap, can't walk out.
Because I need you too much baby.
Why can't you see, what you're doing to me?
Because you love me too much baby.

  7. Tomahawk - POP1

More Mike Patton madness. Chorus: This beat could win me a Grammy!

  8. Mad Season - Wake Up

A song to softly sing while quietly walking around the house with the lights out in the middle of the night

  9. Millencolin - Battery Check

From Home From Home, one of the best punk albums of the year.

  10. Less Than Jake - All My Best Friends are Metalheads

One of my most favourite songs ever. Reminds me of school and how much it sucked.

comments:

millencolin does fuckin rock. they remind me a bit of goldfinger and bad religion, but that's not a bad thing.

clint mansel *made* requiem. the music ties the plots and chr development together in much tighter way than the visuals (even tho the visuals rule too).
