remember that time i updated my site?
is this what you wanted?

i've never strived for popularity. i've never actively promoted this site through webrings, banners exchange and what not. it still surprises me that a small number of people regularly visit this site. i don't know how they found it, or why they come back.

is this what you had in mind?

i don't think this site is good enough to be popular. popular sites are engaging. i am not engaging. i hardly make any attempts to elicit responses. besides, engaging people are passionate.

is this what you wanted?

some have said that they use blogging as a form of therapy. i can't remember ever writting anything on this site that ever made me feel better about anything. some satisfaction, sure. therapy? no. besides, doesn't therapy imply illness? oh so many of you sick, sick people.

but yeah, i have been neglecting this page. i always thought that i'd just post nothing instead of something boring. i'll get back to the boring.

at first, i started reading your site because the layout and design was so appealing. then, however, i got hooked on your writing...by calling it boring and un-engaging, you sell yourself short. i find what you write to be humorous and often rather insightful- for example, your post about the spider and your post about your circle of friends.

you always post longer stuff than me, in full paragraphs too. besides, the above was all broken up into discrete chunks. it's practically point-form!

one time i searched for "you don't make friends with salad" because i couldn't remember where it came from, and it was the simpsons, of course. it was written in the comments, so it came up on google. so i just keep coming back, waiting for something cool to happen :)
